Turning Down the Heat, Sharing the Warmth

Starting tomorrow (Jan 26), Downtown Nanaimo will be working as part of a province-wide campaign to collect sweaters for those most vulnerable to the cold. Nanaimo’s NDP is proud to be a part of this initiative.

As MLA for Nanaimo, Leonard Krog will be accepting  gently used sweaters at his constituency office (4-77 Victoria Crescent), which will be collected and donated to the Nanaimo Women’s Resource Centre and the Nanaimo Men’s Resource Centre.

We would be more than delighted to receive any gently used sweaters you might wish to donate for this very worthwhile cause, and we will also be turning down the heat at the office from February 2nd to 9th in solidarity with those who are cold, and in partnership province-wide.
